A war has been raging between PC users and devoted Mac enthusiasts. With every new OS, (currently Windows 10) the Windows PC’s are increasingly getting better from a security standpoint, catching up to Apple, but not quite yet. The hardware is also improving and getting faster. Always remember, for fastest PC’s in the corporate world, invest in a gaming machine, (yes really!) just don’t use it to play games, use it administratively and you will be captivated and impressed at how fast your PC is. Alienware is my top choice, followed by Origin, but there is also the higher end Sony’s that are just built better than the other traditional PC’s. If your fears and worries are connected to security issues, it’s best to get a Mac. In the ideal world, a Mac environment would mean no more viruses. I recently converted an insurance company that had some proprietary Windows programs and some web sites only worked with Internet Explorer. It was simple to tell the employees to do all your surfing on Chrome on the Mac side, and only use the website they had to use on the Parallels’ side (Windows on the Mac). The result is, no viruses or spyware on they’re systems. An interesting note as well, they rarely need any IT help since Mac’s just work efficiently and for the most part, pretty flawlessly.
