Got an old laptop lying around? Instead of throwing it in the trash so it can be added to the landfill, why not donate it to someone in need? We take laptops of all kinds, no matter how old and outdated they are. We’ll clean out the software, re-install the operating system, and pass them along to someone who needs the equipment. You don’t have to do anything but bring us your old laptop. That computer that’s been collecting dust in the attic could be a valuable gift for someone who needs a home computer but can’t afford an expensive laptop.

How Does it Work?

The process is simple. You bring us your old laptop. It doesn’t matter if it’s old, outdated, or crawling with viruses and malware–we’ll take care of that. We’ll wipe out all the files and software and re-install the operating system to get the laptop back to its original working condition. Then we’ll find someone in the area who needs the laptop and donate it to them. We’ll make sure they call you to thank you for your generous donation. We do all the work for free–all you have to do is donate the equipment.

What Kinds of Laptops Do You Take?

We’ll take any brand, size and style of laptop, no matter what year it was manufactured. If you’ve got a laptop from 2002 lying around, bring it in and we’ll see what we can do with it. Don’t worry about any viruses or malware that might be gunking up the system–with our expertise, we can handle even the toughest viruses. There are rare, extreme cases where the laptop isn’t usable, but ninety percent of the time, we’re able to clean it up and give it to someone in need.

Will My Files Still Be on the Computer?

Nope! We’ll wipe out all the files and software and re-install the original operating system so it’s back to its factory settings. The recipient of your laptop won’t be able to view your files, logins, or personal data. The computer will be completely wiped clean.

Why Do People Need Laptops?

People can need laptops for several reasons. In today’s world, an Internet connection is practically a necessity. Some people don’t have local libraries nearby, and if they do, the Internet usage is highly limited. Having a laptop allows them to check the news, stay in touch with family and friends, check their email, and search for jobs from the comfort of their own homes. They can even start working from home under certain circumstances. When you have a laptop, your entire world opens up. No longer are you limited to hour-long increments at the library or trying to find a cell phone signal in a poor area.

What if I Need a Laptop?
