With a brand new price point and several intriguing hardware and software upgrades, the new iPhone 11 certainly has Apple users around the world wondering if it’s worth making the upgrade.
Features like the dual rear-camera setup and a revamped microprocessor are definitely driving intrigue, but many Apple aficionados remain skeptical until proven otherwise. With prices on the base model iPhone 11 debuting well below Apple’s traditional MSRP, users are wondering if the decrease in price is really just a reflection of a decrease in quality. The iPhone 11 Base Model: A Look Inside (And Out)
The screen size and design of the iPhone 11 is certainly larger and more spacious than older models like the iPhone 8, with same sleek and attractive glass of the phone that we’re used to seeing in traditional models. However, the iPhone 11 comes with a much wider variety of colors to choose from, including options for yellow and purple.
Inside the phone, the iPhone 11 Base model features an A13 Bionic chipset and much improved multi-core capabilities, the new hardware upgrades are definitely a solid upgrade over previous iPhone models.
The increased computing power doesn’t seem to come with the traditional trade-offs in battery life, however. Posting similar endurance times to the 8 Plus, Apple’s revamped battery technology produces impressive results. Furthermore, the battery is lightning fast when it comes to taking charge, with only 30 minutes on an 18 watt charger required to reach 50% capacity.
The iPhone 11 Pro: Good Things Come In Small(er) Packages
With a slightly smaller screen size than the base model but a higher price starting at $999, it would be easy to dismiss the 11 Pro as pointless to consider over the base model. However, Super Retina XDR display and increased screen resolution capabilities definitely make the 11 Pro a viable consideration.

While the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the same size as the iPhone 11 Pro, the differences in video quality are clear. Most of note is the triple-camera display of the 11 Pro Max, making this Apple’s most powerful video smartphone yet. Moreover, the 11 Pro Max offers:
