Believe it or not, I’m one of those few guys who hates shopping :-). I do all of my window shopping online and make most of my purchases over the Internet. If I enter a brick-and-mortar, I usually know exactly what I plan to get.
Today, my beautiful wife asked me to go shopping with her. Well, I love spending time with Barbie (she really is a Barbie), however, she loves shopping, & I don’t. So when we arrived at the mall, we decided to eat at a popular restaurant immediately after shopping. The estimated wait time to be seated was an hour. We decided that Barbie would shop while I waited at the restaurant.
I’m thrilled to share with you that my life has changed ever since I got my iPad with built-in WiFi. Waiting for a table is no longer a huge bore, as long as I have sufficient battery life on my iPad. Although the restaurant we picked had no WiFi, I was able to keep myself busy since my tablet has built-in WiFi.
Restaurateurs should invest in WiFi for their customers. It’s all about customer satisfaction right? As I waited for Barbie, I checked my email, confirmed appointments, and jammed out to Depeche Mode, all with a smile on my face. The take-away lesson of this story? Make your wife happy, get a tablet with WiFi, be productive, and appreciate life. I do!
